The subway here was way cleaner than the ones in Los Angeles—bonus points for not needing a gas mask! We got a little lost at first, but once we stared at the map long enough, the pieces magically fell into place. Fare? Just $2.90 to ride like a local.
It’s just like the majority of reviews mention the guy on the counter is rude and discriminatory beyond measure. I walked in and there were no customers during peak hours “after work” but no crowd. I mildly inquired about that because I’m wondering why no one is patronizing. I found my answer after the guy took insult to me asking but I have to be very careful where I eat. It was nothing personal. He then begins to mock my speech while I am trying to order my sandwich. I let him know the reason
The guy who take our order this 4/17/26 9pm is realy a nice guy. We don’t speak english perfectly and he try his best to give us a good order even if we said crazy things (sorry) it’s realy a precious thing to have people like this on a city where everybody just try to take us away. His smile speak’s for him, a nice guy !
