Delicious sushi at a very high quality. Small portions and not filling, steep pricing too. Small dining area so requires some waiting but the staff are welcoming, informative, and tipping is already included in the price. The only reason why it's not a 5* in my opinion, is because it's a nice experience for a one time thing - to treat yourself and your company. What was particularly impressive in Sugarfish (brooklyn) was the service. Our waitress was very helpful and kind - not something you see everyday. For the food part: - Nigiris were amazing especialy the Otoro and Salmon. Definitely recommend these 2. - Makis were less impressive (i felt more of a salmon puree in the maki rather than an actual salmon cut). In a nutshell, the ingredients and quality of fish are excellent. The service is amazing.
Evelyn was my server. Their service was exceptional and made my first experience at Sugarfish very welcoming. Evelyn provided explanations for each item I had questions about and checked in periodically. The sushi here is delicious and I recommend the Trust Me Lite if you are new to consuming raw fish as I am!
