I love Sunrise Mart! The store is broken into 2 storefronts that are right next door to each other. One of them is grocery and the other is a fast & casual cafe. On the cafe side, there are plenty of premade meal options you can take on the go that are cooked daily. You can also order something to be made new. I almost always go for one of the Katsu Don dishes and it never disappoints. I’ll also get the sushi. It’s by no means the best sushi in the city, but it’s good for how quick and easy it
Sunrise Mart can't be beat! I went to the one in SoHo and felt claustrophobic but this one is the real deal! I felt like I was in Shibuya! They greet you in Japanese when you enter. It's a real class joint. The food side is incredible! I was a little intimidated to order something as I'm not familiar with Japanese food so I just grabbed something readymade off the counter. Absolutely amazing store. We had such a great time when we are in New York. We bought lot of stuff there. The onigiri and rice cakes, cookies. Everything was tempting. Drinks are different upstairs. The cooking utensils were very interesting loud all the collection at the store.
