Here for the exquisite quality of fish, not for the atmosphere, but there is something kinda fun about having excellent sashimi in a random hallway next to cooler boxes. Lunch set was great, with a healthy serving of sushi rice and a small, fresh baby greens salad. Yellowtail jalapeño was fresh, buttery and delicious with the yuzu sauce. Sashimi assortment was excellent! Highly recommend.

Ordering ahead was super easy, and pickup was smooth and efficient. The shop is located upstairs and has very limited seating (just two tables), so it’s better suited for takeout rather than dining in. Found Sushi 35 West and I’m still thinking about it. Tiny spot above a vape shop, would’ve walked right past it. Ordered the Sushi Premium Box and the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll and got absolutely blown away. The fish quality is wild. Never been to Japan, but this is what I picture real sushi tasting like. Put this on your NYC list.
