I had a wonderful experience at Sushi W for my dad's birthday. After being welcomed in, we were given a choice of where to sit at the counter and introduced to our chef Javier. There's usually a good rotation of fish at other Omakase places I frequent, but this dinner was the first time I've ever had Branzino or Sable prepared as nigiri. They both stood out to me and the sable was both mine and my family's favorite piece of the night. We all got a second piece a la carte. Everything was top-ti
i walked in without a reservation just for myself and i got seatedtd right away! luckily, i arrived when it was the beginning of the round. im a sushi and omakase fan so i had to try this place out since i moved to this area recently. the course was very filling! fresh fish and everything was so good. they also had UNI !!! my favorite. will definitely stop by again sometime this month
PHENOMENAL! I was a little leary of omakase in East Harlem and at the price point, but this place hits it out of the park. Very simple ambiance and decor but made up for by very charismatic service staff and professional cooks. Splurge on the premium omakase, it's worth it for the chutoro...nice and fatty. Will definitely give Sugarfish a run for their money and it's nice to see uptown. Meal can get a little rushed at times given the high turnover; however, the pace keeps it moving. Nice to see
