Made a reservation for a special occasion at Sushi Yasuda for its Michelin rating, cozy aesthetic, and convenient location from Grand Central. Overall the experience was very good. The service was excellent from beginning to end, as was the space itself. It felt very much like eating in Japan in terms of the warm glow, dedicated chefs, and minimalist presentation. Absolutely amazing. You could not ask for better food, fresh ingredients, traditional, well presented and a fast and efficient service. I could not have asked for more. I recommend the omakase, I could have gone on eating until I burst but had to say stop eventually. Bravo. The best sushi I have eaten in the US, Europe, and Japan.
