Booked it for a quick date night before heading on to a gig and the place absolutely came through. Food was great, staff paced everything perfectly, atmosphere was lovely. We made the gig in plenty of time. Bill was very fair too. Earned myself proper points. New default for pre-gig dinners, easily. Brilliant little spot.
We went early on Sunday to try out this bakery. There were already some people inside waiting but it did not take long for us to order. The person at the counter was friendly and greeted us with a smile! We got some of saltfish pattie to try and they were amazing please get one when you’re there. Needed sweet treats for a staff holiday get together. Decided to take a cultural approach and showed up at this bakery about after 7pm. It was closed despite their google listing saying that they’re open until 9:30pm. I called and explained what I needed and was let in. They’d already packed away most of their offerings but I was able to get some coconut rolls/tarts, rock cakes, and some peanut and coconut treats.
