Just had the BBQ Chicken Salad at Sweetgreen - Lower East Side and wow, it was so delicious. I am usually a Cobb salad kind of girl and I love a good vinaigrette, so my standards are high. This absolutely delivered. The flavors were perfectly balanced, everything tasted fresh, and it was satisfying without feeling heavy. I have been to this location before and they are always friendly, efficient, and generous with portions. It is one of those spots you can count on when you want something heal
This location is super small. The bowl I ordered was significantly less filled than any other location I’ve been. Service was ehh and not as friendly as other locations as well. They do not have a restroom either with was disappointing. The only reason they get 4 starts even though the bowl was half full is because their food always tasted consistently delicious. Would probably go to another location in the area of if I wanted SweetGreen.
Potentially the biggest scam in nyc. Ordered a steak mezze bowl and the bowl was only 1/4th filled. What’s pictured here is the finished bowl. I kindly asked the worker to add more tomatoes and cucumbers and she said that’s extra money. On top of an $18 bowl? You want me to pay more for 2 ounces of extra veggies? Love the idea of healthy but genuinely can not wish this business success when they penny pinch their customers over this kind of stuff. Definitely think twice before spending your doll
