My friend & I tried Taco Beans for the first time today for lunch. We each ordered the same special, 1 taco, 1 gordita, & 1 chalupa (all filled with chicken). Everything was a fresh, tasty, & well-presented. They offer sauces you can add to your food to make them spicier. I tried the red sauce but it had too much smokey flavor for me. Their green sauce was tastier, just wish it was spicier. My friend & I agreed we will definitely be back to sample more of their dishes. 😋
Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside. The birria consome was great though!
