Gluten-free Brazilian fast-casual restaurant specializing in tapioca sandwiches, cheese bread, and smoothies.

Nice and cozy Brazilian café. I would say it is a very nice place where food is good, but I would personally not come back because of: - Price is a bit high compared to food portions, as you can see by the pictures. Quality is good. - Pao de queijo is good, although not 100% authentic (they use different cheese and the result is more dense than the original). - Mango smoothie is a 10/10. - Tapioca sandwich is ok. Worst thing is the abscence of a restroom for guests. I understand spaces in NYC ar
As somebody who has to avoid gluten, I got so excited when I was able to have a delicious and filling breakfast here. The egg wrap was especially delicious. I also had a smoothie. It was really hard to decide on what to eat, because so much looked so good! Have you ever had those Brazilian cheese balls? I got addicted to them at O café by Parsons, 10 years ago when I used to teach over there.
Our first food after arriving in New York. I am gluten free so Tap came up as the closest option. The food was so good tasty and pretty healthy it powered us up for a day of walking and sightseeing. Service was so welcoming and friendly. Not a huge space to distances but was good for a quick bite. Place was super popular. There was lots of people picking up takeout orders while we had our food.
