I was staying around the corner and tried this place out. I ate there again. It’s classic American Chinese food, everything tasted excellent and could taste some fresh ingredients. And the beef w mushrooms was a good portion of beef w fresh veggies and mushrooms. Great soups too.
My family vacationed to NYC last week and Taste Kitchen was a few doors down from our hotel. We love Chinese food, so we popped in the night before flying home. The staff was SO nice, kind, and helpful. Food came out fast and fresh! Isn’t not a large restaurant, so not too many people there, which we loved for a quick break from the loud city streets. We hope to be back!
Ordered pepper steak for my mom's friend. We were going downtown and he wanted it from downtown and not local to him in the Bronx. I ordered over the phone and my Sister picked it up. I was shocked initially that it cost so much but then I remembered, it's New York and it's in Manhattan, on 36th street. Everything cost more there. Well the food wasn't good according to the friend. He was disappointed with his $14.50 meal. It was overloaded with onions, and there was very little steak he said
