I came here for dinner around 8:20pm on a seasonably cold but dry Thursday evening in late February. I came here alone to grab dinner at the bar after finding no availability at many other establishments nearby. Luckily there was one small bar stool available for me. The bar area of the restaurant was quite lively and crowded; however, there appeared to be available tables in the dining area of the restaurant. Loved this cute rustic tavern. We sat a table in a back room and it was lovely. The meatballs were delicious and the grey goose screwdriver was tasty too.
So glad I came in! The chicken pot pie is absolutely delicious. David the bartender is knowledgeable, friendly, and obviously has experience bartending. The owner was also there, actively engaged with the regulars and locals. This place is an NYC gem and needs to stay.
