I had stopped by this little hole in the wall a handful of times before stopping in several months ago during a cold winter day. The place was pretty quiet, and the staff was friendly. To drink, I had a Hot Organic Super Matcha Tea for 4.95. It was alright tea, and I wish teas were included in the price point, as otherwise, this place feels pretty traditional. this place was so delicious and the service was fantastic! we had 4 appetizers (spiced cucumber, tofu pockets, pork gyoza and fried octopus) and they were all so tasty and fresh. as a main, I had the beef udon noodles and my boyfriend had the fried udon with steak. we both loved everything and our waitress was so friendly and helpful! definitely a spot to come back to
Tensai serves delicious Japanese comfort food. The udon was perfectly chewy, the karaage donburi was flavorful and satisfying, and the takoyaki was good. Great food, cozy atmosphere—highly recommended! 🍜🍗✨
