I was looking for a bar to watch the Yankees game and surprisingly, in that area it was a little tough. This was the third place I went to. I was able to order food and watch the game with some enthusiastic fans. People walked up off the street to watch the game at the front window and it was just overall a great atmosphere. The bartender was very helpful and was cleaning the bar very thoroughly when people weren't ordering drinks. So it's really clean. I would love to go back.
Wow. I got to the bar at 6pm for game day for the 4th game today for the Knicks. Had some food and drink, but 20 minutes before tip off, the bartender told us she needed to close us out because our seats were reserved. Bar seats. That I had been at for hours and were never told once that I needed a reservation. We had also just ordered a new round of drinks 2 minutes prior from a different bartender. I’m completely heartbroken to miss the first half of the game because of this. I would have gone
There are not many spots on Manhattan that feel like a dive bar but this is close. If you know what I mean then you know this is a good thing. If you don’t then maybe look elsewhere. I loved it! Great friendly bartender and good selection of draft and bottled beer. Probably the best Guinness pour I had on the Island.
