Food was absolutely amazing, my friends and I were looking for a place nearby to have lunch and I am so grateful we found this place. We got the mapo tofu, general tso’s chicken, dumplings in chili oil, and the silver and golden buns. We could smell the food from the kitchen when we were sitting and were practically drooling. Everything was flavorful and came out hot. Restaurant was clean and seating was comfortable. Would 100% come back again next time I’m in the area and looking for something
It is the nyc cynic in me to see 4.8 stars for a Chinese restaurant in midtown but then again there were over 3,000 reviews. So I’m here now and it is wonderful. I was just in Chengdu and this meal is a nostalgia trip. The quality of the food and spices is superb. The decor is simple but immaculate and the owner is warm but correct. I dropped a chopstick on the table and instantly a new pair appeared. That is Michelin styles attentiveness! Anyhow a wonderful meal, vegetarian friendly and my must
I had such a good experience at The Best Sichuan! They had so many wonderful vegetarian options and were very accommodating to my allergies as well — my personal favorites were the green beans and the scallion pancakes! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try good Chinese food in nyc
