TL;DR: Beautiful bar inside The Plaza with classy cocktails, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Pricey but worth it for the experience. If you're going to splurge on an afternoon cocktail in New York, the Plaza Champagne Bar is a pretty great place to do it. We stopped in after a long walk from the Met, and it was exactly the kind of pit stop the city doesn't offer enough of. Probably the best truffle fries I’ve had in my life! Dropped in for a quick snack at the Plaza and was pleasantly impressed with the service and the food! Since the bar is first come first served, you do have to wait however, we took time to visit the store and gaze at the decorations and by the time we got back, someone was leaving! Thank you Plaza staff!
