I did an event at the cutting room last Saturday. Let me tell you if you're looking to have the absolute time of your life. There is no greater place in NYC and I've been EVERYWHERE. The Rubix Cube band is simply Jaw Dropping entertainment and i look forward to their event every year. Simply the pinnacle of entertainment and memories to last a lifetime. The place looks great but seems too crowded because tables are way too close to each other. Service is average. Portions are very small. I don't recommend to order a cheese platter because it's barely cheese and cold cuts there. Salmon portion is also small, twice less compared to other restaurants. Steak and burgers looked ok. Desserts looked good too. We watched the Magician Show which sucked. Extremely boring and overpriced.
Caught the Sabrina Carpenter "Stripped" show tonight from the Premier Suite and it was a solid experience. The Cutting Room is a great venue for this kind of intimacy. The vocalists were the highlight—taking pop melodies and re-imagining them with Broadway-level control and resonance.
