One of the most amazing dining experiences you could possibly have, beyond all imagination. The staff, particularly head waiter Chris and sommelier Michael, could not have been more brilliant, charming, and warm. Our first time here, but we felt like regulars. And we plan to be as regular here as our bank account allows. That said, with everything we had, and we had everything, we thought it would be even more expensive. This place is a dream and it made a special night more special.
The Pool is spectacular. From the moment you walk into the door, upstairs through the Grill, past the luxurious plant display, and into the massive open dining room and gaze upon the eponymous pool with a moving mobile above --- The Pool never fails to impress. Service was impeccable and attentive. Everytime we returned to our seats, the chairs were pulled out for us. Angel, our server, was knowledgeable and on point with recommendations. The highlight of 2018 for me! Was looking forward to THE POOL’s opening and was no disappointed! The decor, the atmosphere, the service here make it to the top of my list in NYC. I would recommend the Sea Urchin toast to start with (we actually ordered an extra portion because it was so good!) and halibut for entree. The wine list is so long you will need help from the sommelier unless you know exactly what you want)
