The only thing better than the pictures and how it looks …is the taste. Heaven. The food was delicious. Large portion means take home…and please save room for dessert. Frozen vanilla Greek yogurt and honey with nuts and philo dough is a reason all by its self to come. Served in a timely fashion. Amazing- George our server was/is incredible.
If you’re looking for the best gyro in New York, The Gyro Project absolutely delivers. This is hands down one of the most flavorful and satisfying gyros I’ve had in the city so far. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro, and it was packed with flavor perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right. The tzatziki deserves its own spotlight: thick, creamy, and loaded with that bold garlic kick that makes it irresistible. It was honestly perfect for dipping fries too (which I highly recommend doing).
The food is absolutely incredible! I got the chicken bowl, which was generously portioned and had lots of flavor. I added crispy falafels, which were perfectly seasoned and had a crunch (a plus bc falafels can be a hit or miss). As a side, I went with the fries, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and are seasoned with oregano.
