I really like this place! The staff are so friendly, the food is great, and it’s very kid-friendly. The scones are legendary. There used to be a bakery in this same spot, and I suspect they’re using the same recipe because they taste just as good. I tried the burger, which was delicious, and the taco fries special was wonderful too. I thought these choices would be a hit with my kids, but they just wanted more scones!
I recently visited The Paddock and had an excellent experience. The iced coffee with cold foam was an easy 10/10, and the homemade jambons were absolutely delicious. The staff were also incredibly friendly and efficient, which made the visit even better.
So giving only 3 stars in spite of wanting to give 5! Have been living here for over a decade and have seen plenty of business’ come and go on our block, when the Paddock came it was exciting. I never got around to trying it (I don’t eat out often) until recently and have gone back a few times. My husband and I are Woodlawn natives and have been apart of this neighborhood for a long time. We have had no problems. I just don’t know if it’s something with our vibrations or what the case may be,
