Japanese option known for bowls, kaisendon, sashimi and sushi.
From Google Maps reviews.
Very unusual ambiance here. Looks like a posh old time living room Japanese style. The place has an enormous menu. The famous Kaisen Don Signature dish was OK. The fish broth that takes 60 hours to make was just ok, not super duper. We ended up liking eel dinner set with that broth much better. Sushi was an OK quality but not top the line high end than one could expect. This place is definitely worth a visit but the food quality could be a notch better to live it up to par with high end appea
This place is absolutely adorable. The decor is like being in a gentleman’s closet. Bathroom is hidden behind a book shelf. Staff is welcoming and attentive. The value for the brunch is incredible. $37 for an entree, plus we did the coffee service and tiramisu which I highly recommend both.
Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Definitely get the broth at the end when you have a couple bits of fish and rice left. Levels up the flavor and taste! I recommend getting their Hojicha Panna Cotta. Been thinking about it since I left! 🏆
