The soup bowl is one of the best spots in park slope! Everything I’ve tried there is wonderful - the potato leek soup is my favorite - and on top of that, the prices are reasonable, the space is warm and cozy, and the service is quick and friendly! Although it’s cash only, I was able to order on Uber Eats for pickup when I didn’t have cash on me - super convenient!
Got the kale caesar salad with chicken to go and really loved it. I'd never thought about this before, but it was probably the single best mixed salad I've ever had 😂 It wasn't soggy at all, the dressing didn't pool at the bottom yet it coated all of the kale to just the right degree. It tasted phenomenal, from the fresh kale to the tasty dressing to the garlicky croutons. Came with bread as well. At $10 without the chicken and $15 with, I was happy with the pricing. Better than the salad was
No-frills soup & sandwich shop. All made fresh; good prices; great taste. Basil tomato soup was a surprise hit with chunks of tomato/onions/peppers and paired well with a grilled cheese. Lentil soup hit the spot too. Limited seating - 3ish 2-person tables. Intend to return.
