Phenomenal experience. The food was fabulous and I may have only had one other pork chop that compared... The price is worth it for the quality of the food. Mickey was incredibly attentive as our waiter, offered suggestions, but also wasn't hovering. I got a taste of the flat iron as well, and the flavor was spot on. Would absolutely come back, and would definitely recommend.
The Omni concierge recommended The Splendid for dinner tonight and we loved it!! Everything was so delicious and special. Could not have been more perfect! Mickey was the best server ever, too! We loved the caesar salad, delicious salmon and wow, the most amazing baked potato (who knew a potato could be so good?). Have to give kudos to the bartender, too, for such a great French 75 cocktail. Go and enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. It was exceptional.
This was an unexpected find! I would tell anyone not to miss this as a destination for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Incredible value in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is authentic, charming, and historical. During the Christmas season, it was adorned with the most beautiful Christmas decor. For a special occasion or brunch this is our favorite place in Midtown. The staff and service is perfection. If you’re staying at the Omni, make this year go to for a meal or just to sit at the bar.
