Management: Please pay to retain your employees. The coffee, location, and staff have been great over the years. But whoever owns the place isn’t able to retain their employees. The employee turnover is crazy high (I’ve been coming for 5 years because it’s near my apartment). Today was the best example of this. I’m not sure why this place isnt promoting they’re desserts more especially the big chocolate chip cookie…whoever is making that needs to get a raise and get more people to know about the best cookie I’ve tried in nyc. Stopped by this café a few days ago and honestly - the coffee was amazing. Like, seriously good. One of those “first sip and you just know” kind of moments. The staff were super friendly and easygoing.
