No-frills, cash-only burger counter hidden inside an upscale hotel.
From Google Maps reviews.
I got a double cheese burger (26$), fries (10.50$) and drink (6.50$). I remembered it not this expensive. Still wanted to try. Food was okay. They expanded the space, and it is much brighter than it used to be. The vibe is different from hideout basement kitchen to a picnic style beer garden in alley way. I remembered it as tasting so so good, something is gone. If you are going back there because it used to taste good, I wouldn’t recommend you.
Such a unique experience. The burger was awsome and the atmosphere is incredible. Highly reccomend it for burger lovers. Its a little tricky to find but worth the challenge
Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve tried in NYC, especially at Burger Joint. The meat is top quality—super juicy, rich in flavor, and cooked exactly right. The place has a cool, old-school vibe, and the service was genuinely friendly. Fries weren’t anything special, but that’s not why you come here—the burger is the star. Would be even better if they had more topping choices or extra sauces. Overall, a great spot and I’ll definitely be back.
