This is one of three locations, as of now, of this miniature Japanese chain, which also has two salons. As the name suggests, the place specializes in matcha (and other various teas) as well as onigirazu, or rice sandwich. In terms of matcha, they offer the traditional types made with water or milk, along with a range of matcha drinks infused with flavors like hibiscus or yuzu. Had a great experience! Wasn’t crowded and my onigiri sandwich was cooked fresh, super warm even after my 40 min commute. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! My only wish is that the prices were a bit more affordable, this was around $15 and I feel like there could have been a bigger portion for that price, especially since onigiris are no more than $5 each. I also wanted to get the strawberry matcha latte, but it was around $8.25, which would have made my snacks around $24!! That’s absolutel
Vegan / plant based Yakiniqu onigiri!! This place is legit so good. The food is really tasty, their onigiri is amazing. And they have 3-4 vegan options. They have a little matcha bar, the food was super flavorful, only thing I’d recommend is using the bathroom and washing your hands before you get here. I’ll always ding food and drink operations a few points if they are serving diuretics and food but no place to use the facilities. You need to order before you sit down, just be mindful of that
