A tropical oasis in midtown! We stopped in at the Tommy Bahama store on 5th Ave and 45th St, and were surprised to find they had a cocktail bar on the first floor, plus a restaurant upstairs. Above the bustle of 5th Ave, it was like taking a Carribean vacation for an hour! Nicely appointed in island details, you relax immediately. We ordered from both their spring lunch and regular menus. Located right above the Tommy Bahama clothing store the vibe carries directly over in theme & feel. The atmosphere feels straight out of a high end carribean & Hawaiian eatery. Price points were quite reasonable. The food selection is what you’d expect in scope (island focused) and excellent concessions for the younger crowd replete with kid-friendly offerings. May 2026: Stopped by for coffee ☕ and dessert. Enjoyed a delicious pina colada cake 🎂. Paired very nicely with the coffee ☕. Service was friendly. It was a shame we had lunch before coming here. The lunch items looked very good. Would definitely come back again for more dessert. Would try the lunch or dinner next time.
