Thinking back still makes me laugh a little. There were 4 of us, and the other 3 all ordered rice bowls. After the first bite, they each had this kind of indescribable look that said a lot without words. I ordered teppanyaki, which came out much later after everyone had finished their bowls. The server brought me a free bowl of miso soup to make up for it. The food itself was fine, nothing special. I came here late one evening on a weekday and enjoyed my experience! The interior of the restaurant is spacious, casual, and great for big groups. Service here was pretty fast. We ordered sake, takoyaki, agedashi tofu, gyudon/udon, and a variety of skewers. Everything was delicious. The skewers came in a good portion and the entrees were flavorful and huge plates. It was a great casual drinking and cozy vibe with friends on a rainy day.
Went last night for a friends bday. They were very accommodating. We ordered many skewers and appetizers tapas style. Every dish was great. We had a curry noodle dish as our "Pièce de résistance" . Comfort in a bowl. My friend enjoyed the soju as well.
