Met up with a grad school friend visiting from Seattle and brought her to Torizaku since she loves Asian food. Great choice. The sukiyaki was the star of the night. It comes in a bear-shaped broth presentation that’s honestly adorable and perfect for a girls’ dinner. Torizaku is a great spot with a convenient location, and the inside of the restaurant has a chill, comfortable vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Great yakitori spot in West Village! Torizaku is a cozy Japanese izakaya with super flavorful skewers and comforting dishes. We tried the yakitori, udon, ramen, and unagi rice bowl — everything was well-seasoned and really satisfying. The skewers were perfectly grilled with that smoky char, and the noodles were rich but not too heavy.
