We walked down to Korea town on New Years Day to celebrate. After lunch, we stopped in to Tous Les-Jours on 32nd street right in the middle of all the Korean restaurants. It was pretty busy today so we found a seat all the way in the back. Most seats were taken. We had a decaf Americano and a pistachio filled donut. Both quite good. Place your order for coffee at the front as you pay for the pastries. They give you a buzzer and buzz you when the coffee is ready to pick up. Very efficient.
Lots of great choices. The curry croquettes were crispy outside and savory inside. The strawberry vanilla cake was oh so delicious. Light and creamy. Service was great. Seating area was nice and clean. In
We ordered a lavender latte with less ice and was given this. We were told that less ice means less of the drink. When I confronted them, they said that is how they do things now. I've been here many times and never happened before. I love this place but because of this I'm giving a low rating. Be careful when you order less ice because they will give you less of the drink.
