Had an amazing experience at Thaif! Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Pork ribs with blueberries was so well made and delicious .The meatballs with tomato sauce and warm pita were incredibly comforting, the crispy pork dishes had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the shishito peppers with watermelon were addictively good. What a gem of a restaurant. Traif is famous for its chef’s tasting menu, but this isn’t the over-the-top kind that’ll set you back several hundred dollars. It’s more Brooklyn casual, fun, and much more affordable, which makes it such a great experience. We had a 8:30 reservation last night at Traif, and we couln't recommend this restaurant more. We went for the tasting menu, which was excellent. The endives salad at the beginning was the highlight, followed by the nearly buttery chicken wings in the middle, and succulent pork ribs to finish.
