Classic counter-serve restaurant serving a variety of filled dough pockets, plus rice balls.
From Google Maps reviews.
This place was actually Plan C, since Plan A and Plan B would both require 1hr+ wait. The city don't joke around with brunch... anyways we walked in after seeing street sign advertising their "Pizzas", so it turned out to be NOT what we expected but that's cool too. They feature two things - the Trapizzini is a triangle bread with filling and the Suppli is a fried risotto ball - each with a variety of flavor options. These bread pockets were soft but firm (also the ideal mattress), buttered up
Food was okay, service was great! Would recommend getting a few things to share. The handhelds were more of a novelty item than something I’d come back for, but they make a great Hugo spritz!
Very authentic tasting food, very pleasant and efficient service, reasonable prices. I had the Suppli classico, braised beef/Ethiopian spices trapizzino, Casale del Giglio wine and Olive oil cake.
