I normally go the tropical taste on Church Ave but I was on Seaview and decided to give this place a try. My husband was a little apprehensive but I thought the food looked fresh and the presentation was impressive. I ordered the medium curry goat with rice and peas and my husband got Jerk Chicken. We got the cabbage slaw with our food. My food was ok in terms of flavor and texture however I was highly annoyed that the goat was not properly cleaned and so most of what i received was bone and A L
Everybody in the projects said this food was trash and got them sick. I bought the fried chicken and a small goat meal yesterday and it definitely got me sick have the emergency room papers to prove it. The goat tasted too soft and fatty like it wasn't cleaned properly. The fried chicken was tasteless. I Wish i would give them another dime of my money. Go to mandevilles on foster for good authentic food.
Fried chicken is disgusting! You can still taste the flour and lack of season, and you can tell they didn't properly take the fat off the meat, too! Jerk chicken looks good but tastes disgusting, and there's no jerk sauce! I told her not to give me so much because I don't know how it tastes, and of course, she feels the plate of food that I now have to discard after taking a few bites! Just don't do it.... It's not quality food It's almost as if they just put it together and wish for the rest
