This is a little bar in a hotel. We didn't expect much but they had an interesting cocktail menu, so we had to try it. We ordered the Bodega and the Tudor City Sunrise. The bartender invested the time and attention to making these drinks. This wasn't the high speed, performance art type of drink making that bars like to do. This was more like a quiet alchemist concerned with precision. This made a huge difference. Both cocktails were superb! The balance of flavors was sublime. We drank slowly b
We ordered a couple of beers from the tap that said it was a toasted lager. Ended up being an IPA (We had the advertised beer at another location earlier in the day). When we went back up to the bartender to give the drinks back I don't think he understood what we were saying. We ended up ordering 2 bottles of beer but he still charged us for the IPA draft. Wasn't impressed although I don't believe it was the bartenders fault. I honestly don't think he understood.
