The Homemade Bread is the star of the show here it’s freshly baked in-house, warm, fluffy, and topped with black and white sesame seeds . t’s the best pita in the city, and The bread alone is worth the visit . The Food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The Service feels like a family run spot with warm, friendly staff who make you feel welcome.
El Turco Mediterranean Grill is one of those reliable spots in Hell’s Kitchen that always comes through. It’s a casual Turkish eatery (unpretentious, quick, and perfect when you want something homemade without the fuss). The space is small, so I’d recommend it for one or two people, but a table of four can still work. It’s more of a quick, cozy stop than a long sit-down experience. I always go for the mixed gyro (chicken and lamb), and it never disappoints. The çoban salad is a must for me. I
I had the mix plate. I sat down, was greeted immediately, bread was brought once I ordered and the platter came two minutes later. It was fast, full of flavor, and big portions!
