Service and seating were really nice. The food didn’t hit for me. The salad had too much cilantro (my fault for not mentioning but also, wish they asked for preferences). The Georgian bread was good, but didn’t KNOCK my socks off. Was very rich too. The eggplant rolls weren’t for me - bit of a weird savoury / sweet dynamic.
It was empty when my cousin and I got here on a Monday. We got the lunch menu. Three course for $30 not including tax and tip. It was definitely more than enough food. I was there with my cousin and we felt like the plates were more shareable between the two of us but we didn’t know so we got two full course. Our server Jeko was very kind and answered all our questions. the food came out slow but i assume that’s because the meals were being made fresh. First time trying Georgian cuisine, we love
Remarkable food from a remarkable cuisine served up fresh and with Georgian amazing amber wine that accentuates the flavors perfectly. It's a cozy restaurant on a cute street in a lovely neighborhood. Ask the wait staff for recommendations if you don't know where to start. If you don't like thr Georgian salad, we will never be friends, ever. I hope you go, enjoy!
