Variety makes a wonderful drip coffee, and it’s quite reasonably priced as well. Variety’s sizes are really quite small, so I always go with a large (I typically order a medium elsewhere).
Update to my original review: coffee drinks have been inconsistent. The recent americano I got here was extremely watery and definitely not claimed 2 shots of espresso. When I asked the Barnstable about it, they dismissed... Original review: Delicious americano on the UWS. Small but very comfortable seating inside and outside to bask in the afternoon sun. Warm and welcoming service.
Okay this coffee is very dark and bitter. I usually don’t add much sweetener to my coffee, but I added A LOT more syrup than usual to even semi-enjoy this drink…😬 The presentation was very disappointing. I ordered a cortado for there and it was served in a 8oz paper cup (not even half way full, so not a true 4oz cortado either) even though they had cortado glasses behind the counter… I do appreciate how some syrups are not extra.
