Fantastic live jazz, great drinks, and a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It’s an excellent spot for any jazz lover, with music that really shines and a vibe that keeps you relaxed and engaged throughout the night. I especially want to highlight the non alcoholic negroni. It was so delicious and genuinely flavorful, which made it the perfect alternative for me since I cannot drink alcohol. I highly recommend this place!
I’ve known it as one of the best jazz pub in NYC, we went for a quintet, the performance was fantastic, and I love the home brandy on ice, so match to the jazz. The show starts at 8pm, but u can come earlier to like 7pm the time they open to get a good spot
The Village Vanguard may be the center of the jazz universe. You can feel and sense it as you descend from the sidewalk into this amazing space. The acoustics are awesome. Only the best play there. I saw Christian McBride there twice in December. A place for legends and those destined to be legends. The musicians and the music are marvelous. And so are the staff. Wonderful cocktails and whiskeys.
