Beware that their matcha milk tea is inherently sweetened even if you request no sugar- sickening sweet with a lingering cloying aftertaste even, so you can imagine how much sugar is in there for a supposedly “unsweetened” drink. This means that instead of using pure matcha powder, which is literally green tea powder that’s supposed to taste bitter, the shop makes their matcha product with sweetened, blended powders, which is usually cheaper and of lower quality. BOOOOO!!!! This place sucks. I went in (I work around here and come all the time) and ordered my regular drink. I said, “Hi, can I get a taro bubble tea?” The girl asks, “Boba?” and I said yes, with boba. Then she comes out with a brown drink. I ask, “Is this taro?” because obviously it wasn’t… I get this drink all the time. Then she tells me she thought I wanted the original milk tea because she asked if I wanted boba. The spot inside itself was cool and the staff were very patient and polite, so no complaints there. Personally, I did not like the Oreo drink. I expected it to taste a little sweeter, I suppose, but it mostly tasted milky and not very good unfortunately, so I can't recommend it. That said, I won't pull down stars just because I didn't like one drink.
