We had such an amazing experience at White Horse Tavern. Even our picky daughters (when they want to be) had a great time. We took them out of school for an adventurous city day and we were looking for a kid friendly place to eat in the area. This was it. Do they have a children’s menu? No but they have what kids on a picky day would like, starchy foods like a pretzel and chips with guac. We did think they had Mac and cheese but we were told that was only on the dinner menu. Whatever, we made it
We went for happy hour and got the giant pretzel and the wings! And we also got the cocktail of the day which was a vodka mule. Soooo good!!
This experience was very cute! The tavern has the dark ambient lighting i love so much, and they really gave us a choice of where we wanted to sit which was really nice. The food was good, the spinach and artichoke dip came out cold, but we didn't complain about it, it was still pretty good. I didn't expect the bill to be as high as it was, but the drink I had was so good, i had to order a few of those. It was some sort of grapefruit drink I can't remember the name of.
