Came here on a whim on a Friday afternoon and honestly couldn't believe how easy it was to snag a reservation last minute, not complaining at all! The vibe inside is fantastic, the steak tartare is delicious, and the drinks are on point. Easily one of the best jazz club experiences I've had in New York. Only gripe: the breaks between sets are about 30 minutes, which feels a bit long. Tighten that up and this place would be perfect.
The live jazz was top notch, just a few feet from your table, ensuring you hear every note. As for cocktails I recommend "The Paper Plane" , also a good wine selection. The have a good variety of bar bites. TIP: Make reservations because it fills fast. Also the staff, Lauren, was friendly and engaging. Overall: 10/10
One word: FANTASTIC! I loved Winnie’s before the makeover and now I love it even more. Sexier, swankier, more upscale - an amazing hidden gem in the middle of midtown. Had three plates: Duck liver pate, crispy tuna and artichokes. All three were top notch! The A-Train cocktail was delicious. No better service in Manhattan than Matt the bartender’s service. Music was just incredible. Great vibes from start to finish.
