My family of 5 came to Yia Yia for dinner this evening and it was nothing short of perfection. The salads, spreads, fish, meat, even the dessert was spot on. The service is spectacular and the kitchen definitely puts heart and soul into each dish. The lamb chops were cooked well-done as they are thin and very easy to cook through quickly but the seasoning made up for it. I went here for date night and it was a great experience. 10/10 would recommend, the food was great, the service was welcoming and the music was fire. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond when they noticed my boyfriend was not a fan of the galaktoboureko, as he tried it for the first time. His review is not valid bc he’s a picky eater lol. But they came over and handed him a different dessert to try which definitely hit the spot for him. Definitely coming back when in the area!!
For 5 years now, I’ve willingly have traveled over an hour to dine at Yia Yia’s and it still remains as the best Greek culinary experience in all of NYC.
