Great food. I now travel from LES for the chicken corn soup (hard to find). I’ve tried a few other dishes and they were also great. David remembers customers and orders to perfection. And is honest with cooking time scale (rarity in the business). Cash only but there’s an ATM next door at JJ food corp the deli on the corner. Everyone at the depot had great things to say about this neighborhood staple! A true gem for the UES!
As an Asian who grow up in Asian. I don’t really eat American style Chinese food. Today I went to the next door get some carrot cake, and saw this place, I bring it all the way back to Brooklyn, veggie lo mein still so good even after 1 hr travel. Probably the best American style takeout Chinese I ever had! Clean, delicious and affordable! 10/10
