Damn good double smash Zaab Burger. Juicy, melty, flavourful. Will be back!
Was walking by and thought, why not. Got the double Zaab burger which had a pickled jalepeno. Verdict was great size and density, loved the etched Siam inspired bun but it was extremely greasy and lacked seasoning or flavor. The grease was actually dripping out of the wrapper before I even unwrapped it. I really wanted to love it but alas, for the neighborhood it’s still KO Burgers for the knock out.
The toppings and flavors are the standout taste, Thai spices are not normally what you expect with a burger. But the taste of the meat didn’t really come through for me which is holding this back from a higher rating. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and the Zaab fries are tasty. Overall a solid burger spot doing something different with their dishes. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!
