Hands down the best bakery in New York City! We stumbled upon Zeppola end of April while visiting NYC, and it turned out to be one of the best discoveries of our trip. We were greeted and served by a young man who was incredibly helpful and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. The service alone already made the experience special. Recently stopped into Zeppola Bakery, as I walked home from work in the chilly January weather. I won't lie: I was as drawn in by the warmth of this establishment (both physically and vibe-wise), as I was their treats. Though those looked terrific, too. This is by far one of my fave Italian bakeries to get the Bomboloni (Italian donuts) where theirs are thicker then other places, soft and fluffy filled with generous different flavors of decadent cream. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and authenticity of everything I tried.
