I did try the $8 fernbrake in chili mala oil (also seen as a vegetable dish in Korean bibimbap), and IT WAS AMAZING. i like chili oil and the actual vegetable as it's a nutritious fiber. After the bakery changed owners, the quality of the bread dropped a lot. This place is seriously underrated. For me it’s close to home so I try to go here whenever I can in the morning because my favorite egg custard sells out by 2 or 3pm. This place has the best, most authentic wontons I've ever had outside of Shanghai. Both the small and large wontons are delicious. Every time I go I get the large wontons to eat and a frozen pack to go. They have a delicious lion's head meatball too. I'd go daily if I lived nearby.
