I ordered sushi rolls here for $15, and the experience was honestly disappointing. The portions were shockingly small—far smaller than anything I’ve received from comparable places in the same price range. It felt like I paid a premium price for sampler-sized bites. The quality didn’t make up for it either. The rolls lacked substance, the filling was minimal, and the overall flavor was bland and forgettable. Nothing about the meal justified the cost, and the presentation didn’t help—everything l

Fast-food chain specializing in fried chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries & Texas toast.
My recent visit to Raising Cane’s was a great experience overall. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and clean, which always makes a strong first impression. The staff greeted us warmly and kept the service friendly and efficient throughout my visit. The food lived up to Cane’s reputation for quality. The chicken fingers were hot, crispy, and flavorful—definitely the highlight of the meal. The fries were good as well: nicely seasoned and served fresh, though I have to ad

Delicious and fresh food! Got the Mazzah platter and got to sample many incredible dishes! The eggplant and falafel were my favorites! Got the lamb special too and WOW, it did not disappoint!! I think the owner served us! He was so kind and patient with us as we made our choices! Even gave us some baklava which was INCREDIBLE🤩!!!! I will be dreaming of it!! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!

Contemporary coffee shop featuring drip & pour-over brews, plus baked goods, sandwiches & salads.
You need to be a graduate student or specific faculty – or you know someone who is – in order to access to this spot. It is located inside the Graduate Student Center of Philosophy Hall. To the left of the entrance is where the cafe is located. You need an ID badge to enter. The inside the cafe was quite nice! Very high building, clean and modern. A good place for grad students to relax in peace and quiet. There is an ordering counter with baked goods nicely displayed. They also have sandwich,

I loooove this place. I’ve been coming regularly for like three years now. Their sandwiches and bowls are delicious, but the desserts are what I’m actually obsessed with—specifically the chocolate almond macrons and the banana pudding. I think it’s better than Magnolia’s banana pudding.

Honestly extremely underrated at Columbia. The sushi is so fresh the rice is always soft and not hard like the store bought ones. One time near closing time she gave me two for the price of one. The frozen yogurt is HUGE with so many topping options. I had the gyu don and honestly wow so much meat and rice. Love that they accept dining dollars too

I adore this coffee shop! Great quality, amazing service, and lovely atmosphere. A little crowded usually, but bearable. Also, I'm convinced these guys do one of the best hot chocolates ever! Try it out.

⭐️ 1/5 – Deeply concerned about food safety and quality standards I have always been a loyal Dunkin’ customer and usually enjoy their coffee and fresh donuts, but my recent experience at this particular location was extremely disappointing and concerning. I purchased a box of donuts, expecting the same good quality that Dunkin’ is known for. However, when I opened the box shortly after leaving the store, I was shocked to find visible mold growing on one of the donuts. At first, I thought maybe

I have been a patron of Joe's at PULITZER (Columbia University) for well over a decade. All of those years I have been served again and again by Nicole, who is now a manager at Pulitzer - I LOVE Nicole - she is the absolute best you can have in a barista - always smiling, friendly, beautiful, and an AMAZING espresso drink maker!!!! NICOLE is TRULY the BEST human being all around - JOES is incredibly lucky to have her, she is a GEM!!! You are amazing my friend, stay that way, the world needs m

I've been living with my son at International House for just over a year and it's been wonderful! As a resident member in graduate school and now doing a fellowship as a Peer Counselor here, I've seen this place from multiple perspectives. Located in such a beautiful area of Manhattan and within such close proximity of transportation and Columbia University, the convenience is stellar. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. It is remarkably safe, I feel very comfortable allowing my son t

My daughter was auditioning for Classical Piano Masters Audition on March 6 and one of the lead adjudicators Alexander Moutouzkine, Russian piano teacher, cut her time from 15 minutes slot to an extremely short 8 minutes, As a parent I feel very disturbed with his behavior considering the formality given time slot for Master Participants is about 15 minutes, this Un-ethical judge behavior is very very disturbing given the authority at one of the most prominent music conservatory in America! Review written from perspective of parent taking daughter on self-guided walking tour. Very cute and well-maintained little campus. Walking tour restricted to outdoor spaces only. Walls completely surround the campus making it feel incredibly safe. Friendly security guard who ensured we were on the list before we were admitted in. Cannot comment on the quality of the education obviously nor the people because it was a ghost town since it was the middle of summer.

Huge slices cut from giant pies are budget-priced at this pizza joint that stays open late.
Went on Mamdani's recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Though the cheese tastes very similar to 2 bros (sorry, just being honest) the portions were of course much bigger on account of them being sized much larger. The margarita slice was delicious, with the marinara sauce tasting straight out of a good pasta.

Back with another date night Yelp! Bae took me out to NIKKO, which is so crazy because I was having major déjà vu but had never been there at night before. They apparently also do hibachi and I never entered from that side or seen it happening, it’s completely different vibe from their lunch time atmosphere. We got seated very quickly since we weren’t doing hibachi (but def gotta go back and do that). Bae wanted us to come here for the grilled squid but I knew I wanted to have more than that to

Food and Juice is always a great place. I study at Columbia University and often come here for lunch during my break. I’ve even brought my husband here, and he loved it too. The food is consistently delicious, and the avocado toasts are absolutely amazing — definitely one of my favorites. Overall, it’s a reliable spot with great quality, and I keep coming back.

I stopped by yesterday for lunch on my way to the UPS Store. I had the Chicken Pesto Pasta and it was good. Large portion size. I always pass by but I thought I'd give it a chance. I'll definitely visit again. I saw online they have a rooftop bar area but its open air only on the summer. To cold now. Overall good experience.

Fantastic coffee! A refreshing change from standard blends that we get in the neighborhood. Their Sanani coffee is fantastic if you like cardamom. Yes, it is expensive - $7.90 for a medium cup, but totally worth it. You can sip it the entire day or share! Plenty of seating, background music, and friendly staff.

Fast-casual spot for Chinese chun bing (savory pancakes) & noodles, with a late-night weekend menu.
Rock-hard noodles. I ordered the rice noodle with braised beef. The rice noodles are too hard without tenderness, feeling like undercooked. I brought the bowl to the staff and they apologized and remade one for me. The new one came back no better than the first one. They are just consistently bad. Either your staff needs more training of how to cook rice noodles properly, or your recipe and SOP (if they exist at all) need to change. Staff is good, they tried to be helpful, but unfortunately th

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Balanced, delicious, fragrant, hot, and satisfying. Came here on a very frigid Sunday, and even though it was *freezing* out I was still shocked there weren’t more folks here because the food is so delicious. Cynthia was our server and she was so sweet and fun to chat with! We started with the meatballs. They smelled so incredible we cut one in half before I remembered to get a picture. Nothing has made me want to learn to make meatballs like

Dimly-lit barroom attracting college crowd & locals with budget-priced drinks, darts & pool.
Home. I love this place. Gets even better when it's just the regulars on a quieter night with no college kids who only started dropping by this year to stand around and order bottle Modelos (why?). Love the pool. Love the bartenders. Love the bathroom. A real dive bar. What more can I say? My home away from home.

My friend wanted Thai Milk Tea but didn't like it at our usual go to. Glad we stumbled upon this place, she said it was so much better. The only thing I would recommend is getting an even lower percentage of sugar. I asked for 50% and it tasted like 100%. I appreciate the very fresh tapioca and the many available seats.

Pretty decent! Unfortunately we live in an ice cream desert, so there aren’t many ice cream spots around. This spot is good if you want a lot of different types of desserts at a good price. The gelato wasn’t the best and they didn’t have very many flavors. The crepes are really good though and are a good price. Get the strawberry banana crepe it’s really good.
