Barbecue chain serving Southern-style meats & draft brews in a retro setting (most have live music).
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que started in 1988 as a biker bar in Syracuse and somehow became one of the best barbecue destinations in New York City, which is not a city where BBQ is usually the first thing you think of. The Harlem location sits under the Riverside Drive Viaduct and has this post-industrial, lived-in feeling to it, brick walls, wood, big screens, and the kind of noise level that means everyone else is also having a good time. Getting there requires a subway trip north, but the people making

Basic local coffee shop famous for its recurring cameo on classic TV sitcom Seinfeld.
Tom’s Restaurant was at the top of my bucket list as a Seinfeld fan for 3 decades. The iconic front for Monk’s Diner from the show was everything I wanted it to be and more! The staff were amazing, quick, kind and fun. The coffee was classic, booths were comfy, super cute bar top, and it has an adorable outside patio on a great side of town. Lots of memorabilia from the show and epic photo opportunities for fans. We both ordered BIG Salads and they were fresh and fantastic! Highly recommend for

I always enjoy coming to La Monde. Such a great spot for any time of day, especially brunch. This time I tried the steak from the graduation menu and it was so good — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Also have to mention our server Kara, who is always so kind and welcoming. She remembers us every time we come, which makes the experience feel even more special. Love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

First time diner but definitely will not be my last. We arrived on Saturday right before the afternoon rush. We ordered a few appetizers and Ramen bowls. Their Yuzu green lemonade is such a palette cleanse. My favorite appetizers were the Purple yam fries with this banging sauce in the side. The fried shumai were big and full of flavor. The Tuna ceviche I had as my entree with two sides of wonton chips sooooo tasty. Katsu was my least favorite no flavor profile at all. My partner had the chichar

My friend and I were walking through the city and stumbled upon Dos Toros online, and honestly, it was the perfect stop. The food was delicious, but what really made the experience was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and actually took the time to have a genuine conversation with us about the place, the food, and what makes Dos Toros special. You don't always get that kind of warmth at a fast-casual spot. My quesadilla and my friend's tacos were perfect. This is the absolute BEST spot to

🍔 Five Guys Burger - New York The vibe and service are pretty standard — nothing special, but nothing bad either. Friendly staff, clean tables. The burger is way better if you eat it hot and fresh inside the restaurant. It’s big, juicy, and packed with toppings. But once it cools down… it turns bland fast. Like, “Did they forget the seasoning?” kind of bland. So my advice: Don’t do takeout! Eat it in-house while it’s still warm — you’ll enjoy it a lot more. Overall, it’s decent. If you’re in

Stopped by for a quick lunch around 1 PM on a weekday. The place was packed but the line moved surprisingly fast -- kudos to the staff for keeping things running smoothly. I grabbed a booth while waiting for my slices, which was a surprise as the place was filled with kids getting out of school and parents. The ambiance was fun - some good music was playing making lunch break even more enjoyable. The pizza itself is genuinely good: thin crust, quality cheese, great tomato sauce, and creative to

I wasn't even expecting it to be ready yet and notify the crew as such because they were overwhelmed. I just needed the restroom code, because my intent was to use the restroom and then to receive my food after it wasn't quite so busy, and eat. Hex & Company by Union Square is a solid spot for board games and a place we generally enjoy spending time at. Tried Ethiopian food for the first time here and was blown away. I was in town and wanted to see the Jazz performance of Julia Danielle (amazing btw highly recommend) and met some friends for a nice, relaxed Sunday evening. We got a mix of sambusas which I highly recommend. They were so good and always brought out fast. The main dishes took more time, but were amazing. We shared a mix of food. The bread was so spongy and perfect for the mix of flavors. Injera is a must while here!

Toast is a fantastic New York restaurant. It’s stood for many years because the food is always delicious. They don’t need bells and whistles like a lot of other NY restaurants because the quality speaks for itself. I think we may have arrived slightly earlier than they were actually open but they sat us quickly. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was possibly THE best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Pretty sure it’s the GOAT when it comes to the Cuban sandwich. So good.

First time ordering delivery from The Craftsman, and overall it was a good experience despite everything arriving quite cold. I had the Caesar salad, which was fairly standard, the chicken was cold but still enjoyable overall. The Açaí bowl clearly had been refrigerated for a while (the almond butter was very firm, almost rock-hard) and the strawberries were a bit bland and tasted slightly off. That said, the granola was delicious and really carried the bowl, which ended up tasting quite good ov

Churro donut pretzel was good enough but everything else was a miss on the food side of things. Idk how long the shawarma taco meat sat out but it was very dried out and not hot when served to us. The al pastor tacos were some of the worst flavor and texture wise. The personal pretzel and queso was okay at best. I would just like to preface that I have never EVER left a review, in my entire life. This is the first time (and hopefully my last). The place was fine and I didn't have any issues until recently. Because it's the closest place to get a relatively cheap meal and bagel near campus, I really gave it multiple chances but I will never be going back again after today. 1. Excellent food. I had the salmon burger and it was delicious. The lentil soup was hardy. It was a good way to start my dining experience. It was a quaint and lovely atmosphere. Fresh and healthy smoothie in upper west! My friend recommended here and glad to find a place like this. Much better than starbucks. However, I ordered multiple times but they were usually not cold(kinda warm). I think it can be really good if they blend the iced fruits. It's really creamy, so I just keep ordering tho. Tip: Juice is just juice, but Juice Pharmacy is more of smoothie texture(but not cold). Pros: Healthy, fresh, affordable Cons: Kinda warm smoothies and juices

I nodded and left but I checked again and it really had a LOT of coconut so I went back but the door was locked and I am assuming the employee left (it was my fault for showing up after closing). I visit this place often because I’m on their beverage subscription. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate. However, the quality of the drinks has been inconsistent. The biggest issue is that my cup is often only 2/3 to 3/4 full, especially during rush hours. Since I’m on the subscription, I usually let it slide, but if I were paying full price I’d be pretty frustrated to get less than a full drink. Pizza is alright, but the problem was they force charged a tip thru grubhub. If I knew they used their own delivery staff I would have tipped, but grubhub doesn't show until after you place the order. Either way if they would have added a $2 tip cool, but no they did an $8 tip!! Mind you I only ordered 3 slices & was just 13 blocks away with me meeting the delivery guy outside. Just watch your charges the next day when dealing with this pizzeria & contact grubhub if they do this BS with you.

Honestly a bit disappointed with my dining experience.
