I always enjoy coming to La Monde. Such a great spot for any time of day, especially brunch. This time I tried the steak from the graduation menu and it was so good — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Also have to mention our server Kara, who is always so kind and welcoming. Toast is a fantastic New York restaurant. It’s stood for many years because the food is always delicious. They don’t need bells and whistles like a lot of other NY restaurants because the quality speaks for itself. Amazing experience from start to finish! Food was incredible and the service was great, the highlight of our meal was the chicken satay nachos and the lemon pepper curry wings for sure! I visit this place often because I’m on their beverage subscription. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate. However, the quality of the drinks has been inconsistent. The biggest issue is that my cup is often only 2/3 to 3/4 full, especially during rush hours. I love this location. They are open late which makes for a great late night treat. The store is always clean and the staff is extremely friendly and efficient. They work so fast. I went some friends and we really liked it. The place is spacious, comfortable, and very well located. Everything looked super fresh, the bowls were really good, and the menu has a lot of variety to choose from. I also liked that they have a restroom and the service was fast, which is always appreciated. It’s the perfect spot to grab something fresh, tasty, and light, especially during the summer. Our neighborhood spot. We really love this place; it’s inviting, cozy, and always clean. The staff is always professional, kind, and super friendly, and always willing to help. The coffee is 10/10; you can really taste the quality. It also has a huge accessible bathroom (which is a big plus in NYC), and it’s very clean as well. The place is also kid-friendly, which is so nice. I can’t forget the outdoor seating — in the spring it’s just wonderful to sit outside. It’s a true UWS gem.

Pizza is alright, but the problem was they force charged a tip thru grubhub. If I knew they used their own delivery staff I would have tipped, but grubhub doesn't show until after you place the order. Either way if they would have added a $2 tip cool, but no they did an $8 tip!! Mind you I only ordered 3 slices & was just 13 blocks away with me meeting the delivery guy outside. Just watch your charges the next day when dealing with this pizzeria & contact grubhub if they do this BS with you.

This place is above 5 stars. The owner felt like a neighbor and was very generous. He gave us a free slice of cake that was so delicious and unforgettable. The coffee was the best I have ever drank in my life. It was strong and very aromatic and earthy. The food was unbelievable. I regret not ordering more for the drive home. I am a long-time consumer of Oren’s coffee beans, from the specialty orange label super fragrant, fruity Colombia beans to Jamaica Blue Mountain to Swiss water decaf. I almost tried everything. I’d say their quality is quite nice, probably only Sey coffee and red bricks from UK can top it. As a roaster, I love them. But the in store coffee quality is quite inconsistent. I had sour, bitter, plain coffee, but never had a good cup.
