At about noon today (10/4), I ordered a bagel with cream cheese (paid $1.25 extra), and this is what they gave me: a tiny smear of cream cheese on a burned bagel. I ate a few bites then politely asked for some cream cheese on the side, but they refused, and although I’d already paid extra for cream cheese, they charged me $4.99 for a tiny dollop of cream cheese. They were unfriendly and obviously avoiding any responsibility for their lack of attention to an order. They have messed up my order in
A place maybe better for Columbia students than middle-aged codgers. Went there recently for a Meal Pal pickup. The young woman at the counter was friendly and helpful, despite being alone and harried. But with only two people making sandwiches at the small prep counter behind it took way too long for me and others to get our food. Place needs to expand or rejigger its food prep area and hire more workers. I don’t the loud “R&B” helped the mood, either.
