Toast is a fantastic New York restaurant. It’s stood for many years because the food is always delicious. They don’t need bells and whistles like a lot of other NY restaurants because the quality speaks for itself. I think we may have arrived slightly earlier than they were actually open but they sat us quickly. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was possibly THE best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Pretty sure it’s the GOAT when it comes to the Cuban sandwich. So good.
I went on a Tuesday early evening with my niece. The spot is kid friendly I saw a few kids there during my visit. There was only one server/bartender when we first came in and she seemed quite overwhelmed so it took her some time to come to us to get our order but the food came very quickly and other servers started to arrive so she could focus more on the bartending. It’s happy hour M-F 3-7 so i ordered a couple well tequila drinks. They were not strong. I barely tasted the alcohol. The food on
My co workers and I came to this place for lunch break. Cute place and to be honest, I enjoyed their food. I gotten their lunch special, it comes with a half chicken sandwich (fried or grilled) and Cesar salad. They have 2 separate Happy Hours! The daily 4:00 - 7:00 PM - including Drinks & Bites. Nights 10pm - Close, Mon-Fri Drinks Only.
